Got this for our niece as an 8th birthday present. Had a flick through so we could also get some of the bits she would need to the science experiments. A lot of the items are things that are generally found around the house or easily and cheaply available. Great for anyone who is excited about science and having fun as a family

This was a gift, my friends son loves this book. He’s been working his way through the experiments and returning to the ones he’s really enjoyed. Informative and in bite size pieces, perfect for children. Highly recommend this book.

Hi,I thought about a nice book for my friend's son for birthday as a present.(I normally send a book from reading list), but then realised that my friend's kids are not too keen on books anymore...during lockdown..thought great thing to do at home...in thier own garden with your siblings, this is not so taxing as reading or watching or learning science, ordering expensive material (online stem leaning acitvity items), to learn science fun way..easy to do ..I am satisfied of what sent after reading index -activities woudl teach, Air, Sound, Water, gas, lot more ...science MUST BUY...during Lockdown or summer holiday.. to learn science K2, K3 level

A lot of the experiments required obtaining things we did not have in the house
Nice diverse, but not always so practical
Had many great showable experiments for the kids as well as many experiments perfectly doable on their own with minor guidance. However, many experiments are either more of the same, or not practical. So 4 out of 5 for me.
Great book
This book is awesome! I have a 5 year old that is really into being a scientist. So this book was an amazing gift for her. We have had lots of fun with the experiments and a fair number of the experiments take every day items so they are easy to do on the fly. Each section of the book is broken down into things like sound, light, gases ect. And each experiment comes with pictures and good instructions as well as an explanation as to why that particular reaction is happening.Can't recommend enough honestly. Great book and would buy again.
