Arrived packaged in the standard Bolo "folder" and so one corner was badly folded impinging into the text by some 60 pages.As to the book's content: comprehensive and informative on the whole. I have one quibble that I find quite common in medical books generally and that is the condition commonly referred to as Parkinson's Disease. The technical terminology for this condition is "paralysis agitans" but this is not given in this book neither is it in the latest edition of The Merck Manual, unlike earlier editions of the latter.One has to turn to the expansive Samson Wright's "Applied Physiology" for an in-depth analysis of paralysis agitans.

Product is great but we having a spat of drivers throwing parcels over the gate at moment and then declaring they were hand to resident so I'm not that happy with service

This book has excellent search features that prioritises entries found over simple mentions of the term. Well indexed - easy to jump to any initial letter. Works well on e-ink monochrome displays and on colour displays.

Great resource for British English spellings of medical terms
I edit health care-related documents from a lot of places where British English is the preferred flavor of English. The group I work with has a select list of British English spellings in its style guide, but I frequently run into documents that contain vocabulary not found on that list.This dictionary neatly solves that problem. It contains just about everything I've looked up so far, meaning I can check a word quickly instead of having to search for it online. (I bought a companion volume at the same time, but this book is so complete that the other book has gone mostly unused.) And its compact form (it is a paperback, after all) means it doesn't take up a huge amount of space on my usually crowded desk.
Grab and search a medical term that I have not heard of.
Book clear and simple of any medical condition.I wanted an updated version.
