The media could not be loaded. We wanted to support our child using the same materials as she does as school. Oxford Owl phonics are great and the instructions.in this lovely pack are very clear. It was nice to support our child at home rather than confuse by teaching something completely different.

I purchased these for over the summer to do with my daughter. Absolutely love them! My daughter recognises the books and methods. We are familiar with Read Write Inc structure, but even for someone who isn't familiar, they are super easy to follow along, prompts all the way through, even a parent handbook. Even places where children can mark off their progress.

This is great value for money, it has kept my 5 year old busy during the summer holidays where he’s been able to practice his writing and gave a good range of green and purple phonic books to read to keep practicing his reading skills.

Phonics is not the way I learned but this is a pleasing purchase. The sound cards are fun (although the writing is small) but great for a 5yr old. She is working on her own, picking up the cards and ready to start the books. I like how it progresses to more difficicult word groups and allows interactive child recording of progress. Very, very supportive.

These sets have been an absolute life saver during lockdown. My reception year soon is the only one in his class to go up feeding levels while home schooling. It's a shame this set doesn't come with a sticker chart like set two, my son was so proud when we finished it and wanted another, so he ended up making his own.

Bought this for my 5 year old to help with his phonics etc. He's come on leaps and bounds since having it, and gets really excited to practice using the cards. Really happy with this product and great value for money. Would recommend.

This set follows on from the set one pack that you can also purchase. It supports the phonics sessions that my daughter takes part in at school so I know that I am supporting her learning alongside the teacher. Great illustrations and books and flash cards also come in with the set . Great item .
Perfect for beginning readers
My daughter uses Read Write Inc. system at her preschool, we got these books and the other sets so we could use it at home. It's a great phonics system. These stories are simple, but effective. The reading comprehension quiz at the end is a great idea. The books progress in difficulty and length. There are other more advanced colored books as well. Look at the read write inc website for more details. It is a british system and company so likely not used much in US schools.
Third and last in the ReadWrite Inc. parent kits
The Third kit in the ReadWrite Inc. parent kits is focused on helping your child become a reader and includes:- Six storybooks with sped sounds, green and red words before the stories (3 green level with 2 stories in each and 3 purple level - 1 story in each);- Phonics flashcards with set 2 sounds;- Handwriting book to practice the set 2 sounds and cover some of the stories in the books;- Parent handbook with detailed information on how to use the kit.I use this kit with my 5-year-old to help her catch up when she cannot attend school and the instructions in the parent handbook are very useful in that.Unfortunately, this is the last kit in the series and it does not cover the set 3 sounds.

Only received one book - false advertising
Totally false advertising - only received one book. There is no kit. This is the most disappointing purchase as the kit would have been very useful with the flashcards etc. Would never pay so much for just one book. Very disappointing. Would like a complete refund.
I got only one book not 'my reading kit'
I received only one book which arrived on Dec 13th and I thought they might come later soon but I was wrong. It's too pricey even I bought used item and get only one book.
