--Spoiler warning - even though its not a fiction book--I've read many self improvement books:- Atomic Habits by James Clear- Deep Work by Cal NewportBut how do you encourage and motivate yourself to actually go out and study those books and follow through with the improvement in the first place?TAGR teaches one how to cultivate a burning desire through auto-suggestion. Auto-suggestion is something you do naturally anyway - its the thoughts that come and go - the ones that linger become a part of your self-identity. Why not then take control of that process and bombard your psyche with the thoughts you want? And hence slowly shape your identity into what you want it to be?This is the point of TAGR. It also explains that you can only be motivated and committed to goals if you have burning desire for them. Adopting this mentality forces you to discard the time wasting activities and ensure all of your effort is concentrated on the 1 burning desire.The burning desire could be anything - ridding yourself of illness, getting into university or increasing your income. There's a lot more to it than that and this book provides the frameworks for how one can spark that fire inside them and laser focussed concentration that then enables them to use the tools of life and other less generic books to achieve their objective. First you need the passion and burning urge, only then can you bring yourself to spend years achieving a goal.I would say this book is a must try for everyone.

Unfortunately, later down the line I am not rich...even if I think I am or identify as a rich person. It's an alright read, though.I wanted this to solve all of my problems ๐

Amazing book I have read, itโs likened to an oasis of knowledge. Much tribute to Bob Proctor who introduced me to purchase the book. Napoleon Hill, great man that ever lived. I think every teenager after finishing college should read this book.

To be honest it's a laborious read; pompous, preachy, repetitive, and dated, pushing a very old American Dream of self interest. I'm half way through and force myself to keep plugging on because, well I paid for it. It extols 'great men' of industry and banking who amassed enormous fortunes, the very men who achieved that by exploitation, forcing competitors out of business, and creating gentlemen's clubs of monopolies. Nevertheless, it can be summed up by; have a vision of where you want to go, make every decision that is a step towards that vison, and be persistent. However it takes self interest and dials it up to 11. If you want to develop an incessant greed, this book is for you.

I don't believe that a book can change the life of a person, I only believe in hard work, but definitely this book is interesting to read.
