Love this book, great if you are just getting into skincare and want to establish a routine. Bought the original book about 4 years ago and always go back to it if there is a change in my skin and need advice on the right products to use. It literally is a skincare bible!

Yes this book was well overdue and I’m pleased I purchased this edit which includes menopausal skin. I’ve never had problem skin but it helped me understand my teens skin as well as the benefits of a good skin routine as I age. I’ve subsequently joined the FB group. It’s a great book if you’re a beginner regarding skincare

As a skincare enthusiast I really enjoyed this no-nonsense book. The way it was written was really easy to understand and although I would say it is catered to a more beginner audience, I really enjoyed the science behind some of the ingredients e.g. the break downs of different acids for different skin types. I would have like a bit more info on some additional ingredients (e.g. azelaic acid) but have found some really great products from reading this book. If you're in doubt, for the price I would highly recommend giving it a go.

Good book with lots of easy to understand information.If you have the 1st edit of this book, you may not need this newer one. There's some updated pages and a few extra pages of new information.Worth buying if you don't have the 1st edit.

I love this book, I have the audiobook too.The advice and knowledge is excellent, very well written and laid out. Including a section on skincare and health conditions.Highly recommended to add to your library!

I learned that not only should you not use an exfoliating wash, you should use an exfoliating acid after you wash! I had no idea! I’m only half way through the book, but even only half way through it’s worth every penny!

Great book with one minor flaw

I read this beautiful book in a few days, it is a highly rewarding read. The only con that I have is the author's opinion on "clean beauty" which seems naive at best, since the concept is only being discussed under the aspect of "is it clean for me?". The bigger question here ist: "is it clean for the environment or will it pollute our water?". I would have loved to find a few deeper thoughts on the yet unregulated soft microplastics, i.e. what happens to the Silicones and Carbomers etc. once they reach the wastewater.Apart from that, again, it is an outstanding book.
