Struggled to get into it at the beginning and by half way through I was hooked the multi personality’s I have heard. of before but not read about them in a book, it had me not wanting it to end

The book was described as good condition, but part way through - at rather a crucial point - one of the pages was damaged with part missing, so you had to guess what might have been going on.

Full of twists and turns that I didn't see coming. I found some of Hanna's decisions questionable, such as the mystery man (avoiding spoilers), but overall I felt sorry for her. Dealing with an unimaginable loss followed by secrecy and lies. As a big Susan Lewis fan, this book didn't disappoint.

The big twist, the big reveal I felt was obvious from very early in the story, partly cuz I've read that plot twist in several other books and partly cuz the "clues" were very obvious from the get-to. That did not diminish my enjoyment of the story though. It was a very visual read for me. I felt like I was watching the weekly episodes of a 70s soap opera, and I pictured them hitting their marks and swanning off to the next scene. ( I don't mean that in a negative way :)) I thought it wrapped up to a satisfying conclusion and would definitely read more by this talented storyteller.

Always guaranteed a good read from Susan Lewis.

This story was very interesting, especially because the husband of one of my colleagues actually was “Riona”-like. Experiencing it through the colleague’s eyes was both enlightening and fascinating! With that background I found the story completely real! The book was hard to put down!

Very suspenseful. Characters are amazing. A bit hard to keep straight in the beginning. Fate the first few chapters it all begins to come together.

The subject of this emotional family drama is unexpected and quite unnerving. It is well written and leaves the reader examining her acquaintances in a new light.
